
SOCIETY OF ACTUARIES
The Society of Actuaries (SOA) is a global organization of actuaries dedicated to actuarial science research, professional development and education, and professional standards. It offers a number of resources to its members in the field of actuarial science.
Educational Pathways
A candidate must meet the following eligibility conditions and have the Application for Admission as an Associate accepted by the SOA Board of Directors in order to earn the designation of Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).

Examinations

E-Learning course
-
A proctored project-based assessment
-
Validation of educational experience (VEE)

A seminar (Associateship Professionalism Course)

NOTE: Some changes have been made to the ASA pathway.

A candidate must meet the following eligibility conditions to earn the designation of Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA).

Completing the ASA criteria is a must. (Completed prior to entering a fellowship track.)

Choose a specialty track and complete the requirements of that track.
